SKREM Chain
SKREM Chain is a cyrpto blockchain initative based on SKREM-like ciphers with SKREM-based Lamport digital signatures, aimed to be the Bitcoin of post-quantum computing era.
It will include as features the basic stuff one can expect from a block chain such as:
- Security of owned digital assets using a public address / private key combination.
- Transfer of digitial assets based to a different public address.
- Basic Smart Contracts, enabling most functionality expected in a Web3.0 context.
The above features will be protected by the security guarantees of SKREM-like ciphers. Also digital signatures and hashing will be done using SKREM-like ciphers. Given these, it is expected that SKREM Chain will remain secure into the distant future, including against Quantum Computing and against Photonic Computers.
The network will be fully decentralized and will operate like BTC, not like any other "interest-group sponsored" networks like ETH where both security and availability might potentially be subject to the whimps of the introducing company / interest group.
Since it will be a fresh block chain, it will address / mittigate the problem of over-accumulation of capital which the current BTC network face ("Bitcoin whales"). Mircea Digulescu has thought about how to address issues such as gaining tracktion while reseting "large capital whales" and so on.
Pending on ongoing research, Mircea Digulescu intends to introduce anonimization features to SKREM-Chain, largely based on SKREM-like ciphers, which not just obfuscate but fully anonimize the source addresses of the transactions, and potentially their destinations as well. Work is ongoing on this matter and results are still tentative, the complication being that SKREM is a symmetric cipher (and must remain so to ensure its security guranatees) and thus achieving such features is more complicated from a scientific perspective.
If this research starts to take too long, then anonimization features will be achieved (in part) via smart contracts and pooling, similar to how exchanges work.
Additionally, certain interesting on-top features are planned and will be announced at the time of the publishing of the whitepaper.
The source code for operating SKREM Chain is a software product - SKREM Chain Software - and will be released as open source, with no restrictions. SKREM Chain will be designed in a way that some operations (like initial conversion from BTC to SKREM) will generate a commission for Mircea Digulescu - that's how he plans to make money. And of course, via an ICO potentially.
Effective operation of SKREM Chain (S-Chain) will be decentralized and delegated to network nodes. In the initial stages it is possible that Mircea Digulescu will set up to run a couple of pro-forma nodes to demonstrate how the network operates, or delegate this to the ICO intermediary, or simply pitch this to the underlying network.
For a pletora of reasons, including safety from regulatory bans and also network availability, SKREM Chain will, at least initially, use the BTC Blockchain to store data.

Note that all the software products of the SKREM-Suite and of the BlockChain and FinTech are / will be open-source, licensed under the General Digulescian License (GDL). This is a rather permissive license which allows you to create derived works but only for yourself and is also free of charge for physical person individual use, outside a professional or systematic context. Beyond that prices for individuals are about $250 (in BTC preferred) and for organizations about $25,000 per (headcount + business figure/$100,000 + AUM or NBV/$1,000,000), except some select Western-block organizations which are charged much more unless they Contact Mircea to obtain a different license.
